The Bushcare "Thank You" BBQ 2004

The Bushcare Picnic for 2004 held in the Megalong Valley was a resounding success.

This is the day when council acknowledges and thanks the volunteer contributions of all people involved in the Bushcare, Landcare and Streamwatch community. 115 people came down to enjoy a free BBQ provided by Council staff, join in with Circo Blurto and enjoy the music of the Gang Gangs. It was also a time to meet and catch up with volunteers from other groups in the mountains.

Awards were presented again this year and congratulations to all people who received one - especially to our Bushcare Legend of 2003 - Lyndall Sullivan.
